Cavetown’s Worm Food

Robin Skinner is a singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom, who releases music under the name Cavetown. He’s an artist who started his music career on YouTube in 2012.

Since then, he has gained over two million subscribers and has released five studio albums with the fifth album being Worm Food.

Cavetown constructed Worm Food in the same way as his previous albums, in his home studio. One of the most distinct features about his music is that it’s composed of just a few simple instruments. His songs feature ukulele ballads that make for a calm and gentle vibe, which many listeners find comforting.

“It’s my go-to, you know? Whenever I’m having a bad day, I just pop my air pods in and put on his music,” said WJPS senior Katerina Porter.

“Cavetown is, in my opinion, the best indie artist out there. And I love his new album,” stated Dorina Ramku, a senior at WJPS.

Worm Food is available on all music streaming platforms, as well as CDs and digital downloads.
