The new glossy green Xbox logo is back.
On April 24th CEO Asha Sharma of Xbox announced a return to the iconic neon-crystal green logo, known to millions of players of Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Original Xbox.
The company rebranded the logo as a means of going back to the original designs, turning away from the white back to the green color, as well as making other changes such as its change to the division name of Microsoft Gaming back to Xbox.
As the Logo changes to green, the New features that are also changing is a reduction in gamepass subscription prices, and a promise to make the Xbox Series X/S a greater competitor to SONY’s Playstation and Nintendo’s Switch 2.
WJPS 12th Grader Jack Annabele stated, “The new logo is going to spice things up for sure, but some people in the Xbox community will still prefer the white logo.”
WJPS 12th grader Bryan Chu said, “The new logo is fitting and takes Xbox back to its respectable roots of the early 2000’s.”
