In January of 2026, People We Meet On Vacation will be one of the first movies to come out on Netflix in the new year. This movie is based on the novel that was written by Emily Henry. 

People We Meet On Vacation is about two best friends who have a falling out after a decade of spending every summer together. As a last chance effort to fix their relationship they go on one more vacation together to see if they could fix the friendship they once had.

This book has won the 2021 Goodreads Choice Awards for Best Romance. The Kirkus Review had also named it as One of The Best Books of 2021. 

The cast of this book to movie adaptation is Tom Blyth, Emily Bader, Lukas Gage, Jameela Jamil, Alan Ruck, Molloy Shannon, and Alice Lee.

Emily Bader has worked on other films like My Lady Jane, Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin, Fresh Kills, and The House of The Witch.

Tom Blyth has worked on projects like Bull Run, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and Billy The Kid.

Emily Henry has multiple other books published such as Beach Read, Funny Story, Book Lovers, Great Big Beautiful Life, and Happy Place.
