Pre-ordering has begun on Amazon for the streaming release of the new film Michael.

The film has made over 400 million dollars worldwide since being released in theaters in April.

Michael is a biopic focused around the life of the late musical artist, Michael Jackson. The film covers many aspects of his life, starting with his career debut alongside his brothers in The Jackson 5.

In the film, Michael Jackson is played by his own nephew, Jaafar Jackson.

The movie was written by John Logan and was directed by Antoine Fuqua. In the United States, it was distributed by Lion’s Gate, while Universal Studios handled the international affairs.

WJPS 11th grader Eva Livaditis commented, “I saw some controversies online a few months ago over casting. After that it was kind of silent, but yesterday I saw the commercial on TV. I might go check it out. It looks interesting.”

WJPS 12th grader Giselle Nunez stated, “It’s always interesting to see the biopics of popstars. You never really hear what was going on in their lives so it’s nice that these films bring that to light.”
