John Summit released his new album which is called CTRL ESCAPE.

Summit is an American DJ and record producer. He performs at festivals, clubs, and even arenas such as Madison Square Garden.

Some of the top events he has headlined include Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, and Tomorrowland.

The new album was released officially on April 15th. You are able to listen to the it on Spotify and Apple Music.

The tracks on the album include, Lights Go Out, Shiver, Get Down, and collaborations with The Chainsmokers, Feid, Julia Church, and Julia Wolf.

The last time Summit performed here in New York City was September 20-21 2025 for his debut Experts Only Festival.

WJPS 12th grader Dayana Marquez said, “I loved the new album especially hearing Feid and The chainsmokers in it.”

This performance took place at the Vessel in Hudson Yards and he will return again for the same festival September 2026.

The DJ also performs internationally, as he was in Europe this summer. He had a set in Ios, Greece during July 2025.

WJPS 12th grader Panagiota Sfeliniotis said, “I really enjoy listening to house music especially during the summertime.”
