The Netflix series Outer Banks is finishing off with one final season. The first five episodes of season four were released on October 10th.
The first four seasons are all available to stream.
The first season of OBX came out in April of 2020. The series was created by twin brothers, Josh Pate and Jonas Pate, along with Shannon Burke.
Chase Stokes, the actor who plays John B., commented on a social media post about the news, “My heart’s heavy writing this one. One last ride. Thank you to everybody who has tuned in these past five years. You’ve given us more than we could ever give back to you.”
WJPS 11th grader Brianna Limandri said, “Hearing that Outer Banks is coming to an end is sad. I remember when the series first came out in 2020, everyone loved it. Although it’s upsetting that there would only be one last season, I’m excited to see how the show is going to end.”
WJPS 11th grader Eleni Tsiakas said, “I finished watching the series, and I can’t believe we need to wait for the next season, which will be the final one.”
