Some students like having lockers because of keeping all of your things safe throughout the day. If you have a jacket or a sweater that doesn’t fit in your bookbag you can always put it in your locker.
Not crowding up the school classroom by having your bookbags is a plus. Less accidents are likely to happen because less people will trip due to the bookbags being in students lockers.
Some students don’t like that the bookbags they spend a lot of money on get kicked by accident when they’re on the floor in the classrooms. Not everyone watches where they’re walking and can accidentally damage your bookbag.
Some students like having another excuse to get out of class. So if they leave their water or books in their locker, they can get out of class to go to their locker.
WJPS 11th grader Anthony Canele said, “I like having a locker more than carrying my backpack because having everything in there is way better and I don’t have to worry about losing my things.”
WJPS 11th grader Noah Lim said, “I would rather have my bookbag on me at all times because everything I need is here with me and I don’t need to go to my locker all the time.”
