Should Students come to school during testing?

Should+Students+come+to+school+during+testing%3F

As the spring season rolls around, so do exams for many students nationwide. Not all students take the same exam, which brings up the question: should students be in attendance regardless of their exams?

With the attendance of other students, those who are taking exams may feel overwhelmed or even lose focus. This is especially the case with the commotion caused by other students having to walk to their next class.

Students have a better chance of focusing and even passing their exams if they are the only ones in attendance.

WJPS Senior Eltzy Galindo said, “I do relate to the issue of not being able to focus. This issue only continues to rise as other students, besides from the group taking the exams, attend classes.”

WJPS Senior Jenny Kuo said, “If other students who don’t take exams stayed home, I believe it would improve the performance of testing students. Especially, if those students struggle with concentration.”
