As we get more settled into the second half of the year and the COVID rules are ending, clubs are starting to open again. Other students could be starting or working on one. However, at WJPS there are only so many clubs to join.
Recently in the middle school, clubs like the theater club and art club are open to join. There are sign up papers around the second floor. However some students are starting clubs that are new to the school.
WJPS sixth grader Danielle Smyth is starting a gaming club this year, but is still working on it.
“People are going to be able to play games or bring their computers. Sixth and seventh graders are allowed and it is going to be in room 234,” she said.
There is also the art club. “What I like about it is that we can draw, it is in room 252 or sometimes 234,” said sixth grade member Kayleen Meija.
Clubs are really fun because they add more joy in the school and sometimes it is not all about homework.
