Recently on 18-year old-actress, singer and songwriter Olivia Rodrigo released her debut album, “Sour.”
Rodrigo released a single titled “Drivers License” in January of this year, which quickly went viral, gaining over 200 million views on YouTube. Ever since, many listeners have been on edge for her album to be released.
She released another single titled “Deja Vu” before her album, which also gained mass attraction similar to “Driver’s License.” Now that her album has been released, it’s been described as a collection of breakup songs, said to have hints of mischief and good energy.
WJPS senior, Alina Dervisevic said, “I really liked Driver’s License when it came out, so when she announced an album, I was instantly excited to hear it. I can wholeheartedly say that she did not disappoint. There’s not a single skip on this album.”
Another senior, Jonna Blaskovic, stated, “The album is a lot better than I expected it to be. I’m not a huge fan of Olivia Rodrigo, but she’s insanely talented and it’s crazy to see how far she’s come at such a young age. I’ll definitely be listening to this more often.”
