Recently, Kim Kardashian shared a photo of her daughter, North’s painting on an Instagram story that unintentionally gained tons of traction online. As the child is only seven years old, many were in denial of her having such extensive painting skills. 

After Kardashian posted the photo, many people reposted it, making jokes and claiming many things, sharing the doubt that her daughter truly painted the masterpiece. When Kardashian noticed all the speculations, she posted another Instagram story in defense of the child. 

In the post, she stated things like “My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class… North worked incredibly hard on her painting which took several weeks to complete. As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone” (Today.com). The celebrity added more, explaining that people should not be bringing down her daughter. 

After seeing all these posts, WJPS senior Angel Morales stated, “I was surprised too when I saw the painting. I had some doubts with it myself but if Kim says North actually painted it, then I believe her. She’s an extremely talented child.” 

Another student, Alina Dervisevic said “I didn’t believe North made it at first, but then I realized that they’re the Kardashian’s and could probably afford lessons well enough to teach her these skills at such a young age. I understand why Kim would defend her daughter’s efforts the way she did.”
