Mollie Fitzgerald, an actress who played a small role in the film Captain America: The First Avenger has been charged with second-degree murder for allegedly stabbing her mother to death in a home in Kansas.
Fitzgerald’s mother, Patrcia Fitzgerald, lived in Houston for many years and was in the process of returning to Kansas City.
Police say that they had received a call reporting an armed disturbance. When they arrived at the scene. they found her mother dead and Mollie Fitzgerald with minor injuries who was transported to the hospital for it.
Fitzgerald played Stark Girl in the film and worked as an assistant for the director, Joe Johnson.
“Why would she even do that? Did she even think of her reputation?,” said Stephanie Gruber a junior at WJPS.
Fitzgerald has also been in smaller films, such as The Creeps and Girl of My Dreams.
Ex-husband, Corey Jackson, was objected by her as to being a witness. The actress spoke to a Kansas judge and said that she would represent herself in the case, justifying this by stating she had a law degree.
