The latest addition to “Mario Tennis” has been released. It’s titled Mario Tennis Fever, and is available on the Nintendo Switch 2.
The game features a roster of 38 characters, including fan favorites like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Bowser.
Mario Tennis Fever adds a new solo adventure gamemode, in which Mario and the others turn into babies. You’re able to train them to fight against bosses, acting as a tutorial for the main game.
In this game, you are able to wield new “Fever Rackets,” which give you a powerup during gameplay. These can increase your movement speed, or give it a flame effect on both the racket and the ball.
Like the previous installments, game modes like tournament, a bracket styled competition, and free play, where players can customize the round, controlling who they play as, court rules, and other special customization options.
WJPS 12th grader Alex Narduzzi said, “I’m excited for the new game, I played the other tennis games before and really enjoyed them.”
WJPS 12th grader Joseph Weir said, “Nintendo knows that anything “Super Mario” related sells, so it’s not surprising that they made another tennis game.”
