This year, WJPS Alumni Day took place on November 26th, the same day as the International Feast.
Every year on the day of the feast, WJPS alumni visit the school to speak with their former teachers and staff, reconnect with friends, and give advice to current high school students.
WJPS alumni Jonathan Reyes said, “This is my first year coming back as an alumni. It’s nice getting to visit because I’m still so attached to the school. I still have friends here so I’m glad I was able to come back and see them.”
He added, “I am also grateful that I get to catch up with friends I graduated with that I haven’t seen in a while.”
WJPS alumni Andrea Vicente said, “I’ve been visiting WJPS as an alumni for a few years now, and I always have such a good time. I enjoy catching up with old teachers and friends, and getting to eat the food from the feast.”
She added, “My sister is also a student here, so I like coming back and getting to see her grow in the same environment I did.”
