Students were invited to the school’s Family Movie Night. It was a free showing for students and their families.
This was a family oriented event and all students attending had to be accompanied by an adult. The movie they showed was Disney & Pixar’s Inside Out. The movie is rated PG and is an hour and thirty five minutes long.
“It was so cute and very entertaining. It’s appropriate for all ages, even adults can enjoy it,” senior Gillian Paolotti said.
Inside Out is a movie about emotions, growing up, expressing oneself, and communicating with those you love.
“I’m an emotional man and in touch with my feminine side. When the girl got depressed, I got depressed,” senior Nick Cassarino said.
After the movie, there was a discussion led by the Guidance Counselor, Ms. Paplow.
“We talked about the movie and what the main takeaway was which is that all feelings play an important role in our lives not just the happy ones,” Guidance Counselor Ms. Paplow said.
