Spring break is almost here, the first day starting April 2nd with students across New York City returning back to school April 13th.

WJPS students are gearing up for this break as we will have a week and a half off. During this time holidays such as Passover, Easter, and Eastern Orthodox Easter will be celebrated.

Spring break offers many opportunities for people to go on vacation and enjoy themselves.

11th grader Mariana Martinez Morales stated, “Spring break is an amazing way for us to take a break from school and have fun with our friends and family and have no stress.”

Ninth grader Miguel Zapateiro said, ”During spring break I want to focus on what I can accomplish academically and how I can be a better student these last three months.”

Following spring break, there are less than 10 weeks left until Regents exams.  

The final day of the school year is July 26th, which will also be high school graduation at WJPS.
