Starting on March 9th and ending on the 13th the second Wolf Week will take place at WJPS. The theme of this year’s event is “Movie Genres.”
Apart from a volleyball tournament, this year’s Wolf Week will feature an Esports tournament, a quiz bowl trivia tournament, as well as a mural contest based on various genres of movies.
Ms. Smith, WJPS teacher and organizer, stated, “the activities are aimed at providing the students with more opportunities to take part based on their areas of interest.”
She said that this year’s activities were expanded to ensure more students are engaged.
Ms. Smith stated that the volleyball tournament is a major component of Wolf Week.
Mariana Martinez Morales said, “I’m excited to try to compete for the volleyball tournament.”
She further stated, “this is a really good way to have kids participate and be interested in this.”
