Regents week will take place from January 20th through January 23rd. This gives students a designated schedule to take or retake Regents exams.
During this time, students are only required to come into school on days when they have a test scheduled.
WJPS 11th grader Aaiza Shahzad stated, “This is a perfect opportunity to pass any prior Regents that I need for graduation.”
On Tuesday, January 20th, testing begins with the ELA exam at 8:00 a.m. and at 12:00 p.m. are the Living Environment and Chemistry exams.
On Wednesday, January 21st, Geometry and U.S. History exams are at 8:00 a.m. and Algebra I and Physics are at 12:00 p.m.
On Thursday, January 22nd, at 8:00 a.m. is Global History with the Algebra II exam at 12:00 p.m.
The last day is Friday, January 23rd, with Earth Science at 8:00 a.m.
Pencils, pens, and any other materials required for taking the exams will be provided in the room where the test is held.
WJPS 10th grader Jake Yannacopoulos said, “I’m not retaking any Regents, but I do have to come in to take the ELA regents.”
