For all WJPS 12th graders, the CUNY application deadline for 2026 Fall admission is February 1st.

To begin your application, you can log in with your CUNYfirst account or a guest account. NYC public school seniors can access an easier way to apply by using the CUNY Fast App.

When completing your application, you are able to apply to a maximum of six CUNY colleges.

Towards the end of the application, you will be required to submit a non-refundable fee to be considered for admission. The application fee for students becoming a freshman in college is $65.

After submission, you will be given a CUNYfirst ID number of eight digits so your application and any additional documents can be identified quickly.

WJPS 12th grader Aida Dervisevic said, “I applied to CUNY in November, but I found the site very hard to navigate since it crashed a lot and it was also very hard to set up. However, I think the deadline is fair because most college applications are due in January.”

WJPS 12th grader Landon Thai said, “I personally like the CUNY deadline; of course, it’s a little frightening hearing deadline, yet it gives incentive to account for your future.”
