Another COVID-19 case has been identified within the World Journalism Preparatory School building. On May 19th, 2022, the school community was notified at 3:03 PM.
All students and staff in the affected room(s) have been notified and are in quarantine, while parents and guardians of the entire school community were notified by email.
WJPS principal Dr. Werner stated, “I am writing to notify you that a member or members of our school community have tested positive for COVID-19 and may have exposed others while at school.”
Along with this notice, staff and students were provided with a list from the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene to keep yourself and the school community safe.
Testing is still conducted within the building and a new option where you can ask to get tested when conducted, as long as you have documentation consent from your parent/guardian.
