The Manchester United team’s 16’/17 ‘ season is off to a bad start and has no signs of life. The team sits below the top five Premier League standings and they have only won a total five out of fourteen games thus far.

At this point in the Premier League, they have a slim chance of winning the title. The team’s only hope is that they win the Europa League. Manchesters coach, Jose Mourinho is now being scrutinized for his tactics and not helping the team win any games. Experts say Mourinho is not doing what he promised, which is to bring the team to the top four. So far, his record signings have not been having a prolific season, such as Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are worth more than 200 million dollars combined. Soon, the middle of the season will come up, and the club will evaluate his accomplishments and decide if they should sack him or keep him.

In the last six games before the break, Manchester United has picked up 18 points, thus boosting the already low morale of the team. Going into the break, the team is in 6th position, and so far this season has been uplifting in the spirits for the fans. They hope to have finished in the top four to qualify to the champions league.

If the season comes out as expected, they will win the Europa League and the league title to complete a double. The club can pick up their game or it could be the fall of a great team built by passion and players.
