Cats or Dogs?

Cats and dogs have been domesticated for 20,000-40,000 years. They come in many different variations and are accessible in pet shops all over the world.

There have been many debates on which one ranks superior. However, they have their own sets of qualities that make them unique, which is why experiences with them as a housepet are so different.

Cats are known to be more independent than dogs are and don’t need that much training. Dogs are usually energetic and need a lot more exercise and attention than cats do.

According to WKYC, adoption fees for both pets vary depending on the breed and the age. However, with the costs of vaccinations, food, toys and other necessities, often cats are cheaper to raise and adopt than dogs are.

Even though raising a cat may be cheaper, studies have shown that having a dog as a pet will make the owner happier. According to the general social survey, run by the National Opinion Research Center, 36% of dog owners call themselves very happy compared to 18% of cat owners.
