Deadpool’s Return

The brand new Deadpool installment is releasing this year. The movie is a crossover film with X-men character Wolverine.
Deadpool & Wolverine will come out on July 26. It stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Owen Wilson. This is the third Deadpool movie of the franchise.
Wolverine last appeared in the 2017 film, Logan, which starred Hugh Jackman.
Not much information is given about this crossover movie since it has been in development since June of 2019. However, it was revealed that the film would take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU).
This is also Wolverine’s first appearance in the MCU. This is since Marvel is slowly going to introduce the X-men into their universe with other films like the Fantastic Four movie coming out next year.
WJPS 9th grader Nazair Walters said, “I like watching the marvel movies. The Deadpool movies are always funny because of their jokes. I want to see how Wolverine and Deadpool interact.”
WJPS 11th grader Dylan Schachter said, “Most marvel movies in the MCU are fun to watch because of how connected they all are, but I want to see what Deadpool will bring to their own universe. I wonder if the movie will refer to the past events that happened in their universe.
