As of week three, leading into week four of the 2023-24 NFL season, the New York Jets have won 22-16 against the Buffalo Bills, lost 30-10 against the Dallas Cowboys, and lost 15-10 against the New England Patriots.

The New York Jets went head to head on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills, coming away with an overtime victory to kick off their season.

The Jets made history as they scored the third ever punt return touchdown in overtime.

Jets safety Jordan Whitehead picked up three interceptions against the Pro Bowl QB Josh Allen.

The Jets won their opening game, but suffered a big loss in the process. They lost their four time MVP, Super Bowl champion quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets picking up Rodgers during the offseason generated large amounts of attention around the franchise, and what they would be able to accomplish this season.

However, just 75 seconds into the game, Rodgers stumbled off the field. He tore his achilles, ending his season on the spot.

WJPS senior, William Quentin said, “They invested a lot of draft capital and money into him, and it seems like it all went down the drain this season.”

WJPS teacher, Mrs. Bonnani said, “I’m not surprised. When you’re a Jets fan, you live this life.”
