Miller’s Goals

To start the basketball season for Francis Lewis sports WJPS junior Mark Miller said, “I like the sport of basketball.” He wants to be a shooting guard or small forward. He hopes to make the varsity team, which will hold tryouts this fall.
He loves the game and wants to take it to the next level with a possible scholarship. Miller also enjoys football, but he prefers basketball more and thinks he is more talented.
Miller wants to make it to the NBA and take it to the next level. He said he is very passionate about it and wants to pursue what he loves the most.
He said it’s very challenging to be on a team with all of the people watching and everyone counting on you in addition to wanting to be the best you and better than everyone else.
Miller also played baseball for Francis Lewis, but didn’t really seem to like it as much as football or basketball. It didn’t really intrigue him.
Other things he does outside of school is he plays on his console and he spends time with his friends.
