Bigger than bigger
Which one is better the Iphone 5 or the Iphone 6? Some people may argue that the Iphone 5s may be better than the Iphone 6 because of all the recent negative connotations around it. Apple recently revealed the iPhone 6. The phone now features lots of innovation and differences from the iPhone 5S. This seems to be Apple’s game changing product.
The iPhone 6 is the biggest overhaul Apple has done to recreate the iPhone brand. From 2007 to 2014, Apple created devices that people could not put down and are left them wondering how people could live without Apple products.
iPhone 6 simply amazes phone customers by presenting itself with a powerful processing chip that Apple calls the “A8” chip. According to Apple, the A8 chip is the next generation 64- bit desktop class architecture that packs two billion transistors, twenty five percent faster than the previous iPhone 5S.
This allows it to make it a stronger and faster phone than previous models. It also includes another “M8” motion coprocessor that measures your physical activity through advanced sensors. iPhone 6 battery life improves from the 5S and lasts 10 days (250 hours) on Standby mode.
iPhone 6 has an improved camera as it features a new sensor for pictures called “Focus Pixels.” According to Apple, this allows the camera to focus 2x as fast than previous iPhones. It includes an 8 Megapixel iSight camera with 1.5x micron pixels and a f/2.2 aperture.
Video Recording has also improved to 1080p 60FPS. 60 FPS (frames per second) makes the video more smooth with more detail to have great quality and precision. The slow motion feature is also back with more added FPS, it improves from the iPhone 5S from 120 FPS to 240 FPS, double the previous model. Apple also added a new feature called Time Lapse mode, which records different landscapes to create a beautiful scene. This was originally built for the iPhone 6, while but can be downloaded for other iphones that can handle the update.
One of the biggest features on the iPhone 6 is the bigger screen, now increased to 4.7 inches. The iPhone 5 and 5S had a 4 inch display, while others had a 3.5 inch screen. Apple seems to compete with its competition Android in wanting more sales and conversions from Android.
“I have chubby fingers, so I like the big screen,” assistant principal Mrs. Poulos said.
Apple still manages to have one handed use as previous iPhones did, even with a bigger screen. The ability to use the iPhone with one hand is still an easy but satisfying achievement they have created.
“I like the iPhone 6 more than the iPhone 5S, it has new features and has a new design which makes it lighter,”junior Dean Zovulos said.
According to Apple, the iPhone 6 comes in three colors, Gold, Silver, and Space Grey starting at $199 for the 16 GB model at a two year carrier contract. However Apple has taken out the 32 GB model and replaced it with the 64 GB model for $299. The biggest and newest memory allocation is now 128 GB model that customers have been wanting for a while now, and have finally received it.
Apple has still been able to dominate the smartphone market with its intelligent Operating System (OS) system, strong experiences and stronger processors, but what this only means is that people have the best reason to be excited for the future of Apple products.
