Leicester City is now the new English Barclays champions for the first time since 135 years.

The chances of the underdogs ever winning the league were statically almost impossible. The chances of seeing Elvis Presley alive was a better chance than the club winning the league. The team has brought the trophy to Leicester City and now this can be a stepping stone for the club.

The club’s success came out of a left field. The club was recently regulated into Barclays league only just two years ago. Many believe that the team’s success came from the one-star player, Jamie Vardy. He is now a contender for Barclays premier league player of the year. The team’s success has now allowed the team to qualify for next year’s Champion league, letting them battle it out with other countries in Europe for the best club.

“I’m very happy that odds were against them and they were still able to do the impossible. It’s always the same teams that win Premier league like Manchester teams, or Chelsea, so it’s nice to see a new underdog win. I think without the help of Jamie Vardy, they wouldn’t have gotten this far and I’m happy for them,” senior Jonah Sampedro said.

Leicester City will look to defend its title in August as it will now be a force to be reckoned with on the high tier level of European.
