Queens citizens flock to 10Below ice cream shop

Located at 136-17 39th Ave, inside of Queens Crossing Mall, there is a chain called, “10Below Ice Cream”. Famous for their Thai-style ice cream “rolls”, the chain grew popular very quickly.
10Below Ice Cream is New York’s first establishment serving Thai-inspired ice cream rolls. This concept was created on the streets of Thailand, serving fresh, made-to-order ice cream.
10Below blends the two approaches to create an experience that everyone can enjoy. The workers roll each individual ice cream order with the freshest ingredients right in front of the customer’s eyes.
To make these Thai ice cream rolls, they use an advanced cold plate that reaches temperatures well below -10°F. The liquid cream freezes and produce it into ice cream that is naturally smoother and creamier, than other types of ice cream.
They have an array of flavors you can choose from, such as “Monkey Business”, which is made of banana and nutella, “S’mores Galore”, made of chocolate and graham crackers, “Peanut Butter & Jealous”, made of peanut butter and pretzel, and “Matcha Made in Heaven”, consisting of green tea and blueberry. They also have the option of unlimited toppings.
“I think it’s really cool. I haven’t gone yet but I see it all the time on Instagram and it looks really tasty,” junior Nicole Stemmler said.
10Below ice cream is definitely a staple when visiting Main Street. All the flavors are very fresh and one will always walk out satisfied.
