American idol’s final season

American Idol is well known for its amazing and not so amazing singers trying out to become something bigger than what they are. The first season and episode aired on June 11, 2002 and the final season/show kicked off on January 6, 2016.

“I’ve watched American idol for as long as i can remember and every time someone that i liked went home i cried. It’s sad to know that this season that just aired is going to be the last season. American idol was such a great show and to see amazing singers perform and to become something bigger and better off of it was so inspiring.I really hope that this last and final season is one of the best seasons ever,” junior Jackie Catalano said.

Many current artists like Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, Jordin Sparks, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and many others became stars off this show.

“I’m sad its the last season of American idol.It was such a good show and it made people famous and peoples dreams come true,” freshman Emily Mulvey said.
Many people have mixed emotions about the show coming to end after so many seasons  because they enjoyed watching these artists evolve over a period of time. Many people also like the judges who take part in the show.
