Twilight shines again by Shannon Doran Entertainment Editor

Many teens know of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, or Bella and Edward, as the couple that will last for eternity. All these movies of the vampire love story started coming to an end when Breaking Dawn: Part One came out on November 18th.

According to eonline.com, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) magazine rated the movie  well.

“So little else occurs in between these momentous events in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 that you can practically hear every second ticking by while awaiting the payoff.”  However, THR also states that you won’t mind going back to see final one because you will be that hooked.

“I am kind of upset that the Twilight movies are ending because it was a great saga. However, I am looking forward to seeing it since Taylor Lautner is in it,” said freshman, Dominique Cachia.

According to screenrant.com, Summit Entertainment announced back in June that the final book in the saga will be split into two separate movies. Also according to popeater.com, fans believe that the two movies aren’t going to add to their viewing experience, but that it’s just a ploy to get more money out of the consumers.

“I guess the directors wanted to make sure that they didn’t disappoint the fans by having to cut out some important information because the book was long,” said senior, Katherine Papatheodorou. “I am sure they were also just trying to extend their fifteen minutes of fame due to the fact that the series only consisted of four books; which, compared to Harry Potter, was really nothing.”

In this movie, many things happen that will be sure to change Edward and Bella’s lives forever. It even comes down to the point where Edward has to get along with someone he can’t stand. Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black, will have to team up with Edward in order to defend the one thing they both love; Bella.

“I personally love the twilight series and movies. Breaking Dawn looks amazing. I saw the commercial, and got so excited. It looks a hundred percent better than the rest, and I can’t wait to see it,” said sophomore, Christine Martucci.
