Grimes drops new album “Art Angels”

Musician Grimes recently digitally dropped her fourth studio album “Art Angels.” The physical copy will be released on December 11th, 2015.

Grimes rose to fame with her album “Visions,” which was released in 2012. Her other studio albums are entitled “Geidi Primes”and “Halafaxa” which were released in 2010. “Visions” won Electronic Album of the Year on the Juno Awards in 2013.

Her music genre falls under the categories of electronic, synthpop, and electropop. In her music, she uses synthesizers and keyboards along with her vocals and samplers. Grimes has been an active musician since 2009 and hails from Vancouver, Canada.

“I’ve been waiting awhile for this album, and it’s exactly how I’d imagine it to sound. Each song is so unique, and Grimes is a very different but likable artist,” said junior Nicole Kuliyev.

“Art Angels” was released under the label 4AD, and the tracklist is as follows:

This album has been long awaited and has gotten mostly good reviews.  Grimes is on tour right now, with an upcoming show at Terminal 5 in New York.
