One Direction took the album “Four” way too seriously
Zayn Malik has left the five boy band group to "four", leaving all his fans devastated. "I guess it was ok that Zayn left because its his choice so it should be fine. He did however upset the fans. The appalling news to One Direction fans all around the world was just revealed. Zayn announced his separation from the band, One Direction on the band’s official Facebook account. Twenty-two year old Zayn Malik made an announcement that he will be leaving the band on March 25th, 2015.
All of their fans were waiting for Zayn to come back to the OTRA Tour (On the Road Again Tour 2015) after leaving for a few days due to stress. His exit was a huge shock to fans and a tragic surprise. After five years with the band, fans were begging him to come back.
Booming the internet social media pages, fans are grieving with pain. They sent some self harming comments about Zayn leaving after all he has done with the band. Twitter is where most of the fans reacted about his exit on social media. The most popular hashtags were #AlwaysInOurHeartsZaynMalik #PleaseZaynComeBackForUs.
“When I first found out, I was really upset. But I was thinking about how they would sound without him and I’m not sure if the music will be good or bad. How is it gonna feel as four guys instead of the original five? I was worried that One Direction was gonna end in general. I’m really sad that Zayn left but I understand that he was stressed and unhappy and if he doesn’t enjoy what he does then he shouldn’t do it just for the money,” sophomore Erika Donis said.
The UK’s outlet The Sun interviewed Zayn Malik about his exit. The interview was based on Zayn’s decision to leave the band. They asked him questions that would answer all of the questions fans had. The interview was not only about his feelings, but also on the fans feelings as well.
“I did try to do something that I wasn’t happy doing for a while, for the sake of other people’s happiness,” Malik said.
Fans are even hopelessly selling their tickets to the OTRA tour because they don’t want to go to the tour if Zayn isn’t there. It’s just too painful for them to enjoy knowing that one member will not be there nor will he ever be there again. It’s like a piece of their heart was taken.
“I was sad, mad and feeling so many different emotions at once but I just got over it. But I think he’s going to come back. I feel bad for the super fans who cried over him. I’m a fan but I just got over it really fast but I did feel betrayed,” eighth grader Jamila Tejada said.
Even though fans are sending depressing comments to Zayn Malik, they love him enough to accept his decision. It’s going to take a while for fans to get over this, but it will eventually happen.
