Basketball Is Back

Are you interested in trying out for the boys Francis Lewis basketball team? Well, this is your last chance as tryouts will be occurring Saturday, October 7th.

Interest meets are being held at Francis Lewis High School in the auditorium for more information. During the interest meet, they will be handing out medical forms that are a must in order to try out or be on the team.

Any high school student from World Journalism Preparatory School or Francis Lewis High School is eligible to try out for the team. 

WJPS junior Nicholas Fitzpatrick said, “The experience was one of a kind. We had close moments and honestly we’re like a family here, it’s more than a basketball team. We always have each other’s backs on the court and off.” 

WJPS sophomore Matthew Aleska said, “It was lots of fun, I really enjoyed every single practice and I can’t wait till the season starts again because it was one fun season.”
