Juniors Deserve Outside Dining

Juniors+Deserve+Outside+Dining

WJPS does not allow many privileges for juniors to go outside and get a quick lunch.

If seniors get to leave early during lunch, it would be nice for juniors to at least get that same privilege during lunch.

WJPS junior, Jake Stulic stated, “I think that’s a great idea, I’m all for it, it gives us an opportunity to have fun.”

WJPS junior, Vicky Kostakis stated, “We should be able to have lunch outside because it allows us to get fresh air and spend more time with each other, outside food is better than inside school food.”

Dr. Werner, WJPS principal said, “People are going to come back with food, they are going to say it was crowded, it’s going to cause a lot of eighth period issues, too many things can go wrong that can cause problems going back in.”

Selective juniors who want to participate should have a group meeting with the WJPS administration to discuss possible ways they could get a quick lunch outside while having supervision. If they are able to make the pros outweigh the cons there is a better chance at getting this opportunity.
