The live action Snow White movie is a musical fantasy film. It is directed by Marc Webb and the screenplay is by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson.

The movie was delayed because of the SAG-AFTRA’s strike going on. It will be released on March 21st, 2025 in theaters.

The live action was filmed in the United Kingdom. Snow White will be played by Rachel Zegler, Gal Gadot as Evil Queen, Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, and Ansu Kabia as Huntsman.

This film is about an Evil Queen exiling Snow White and her finding and living with the seven dwarfs. However, the Evil Queen finds Snow White and feeds her a poisoned apple, putting her to a deep sleep. The dwarfs put her in a glass coffin and she is awoken to the kiss of a prince.

WJPS 11th grader Lidia Kralijic stated, “It’s nice that they are bringing a princess movie to life.”

WJPS 11th grader Liliah Freeman stated, “I think it will be a good movie that many people who watched princess movies as a kid will enjoy. It is interesting that they will make a classical princess movie come to life.”
