Should Juniors have a prom?

Should Juniors have a prom?

Schools all over the country have junior prom, however, WJPS does not.

It does not seem fair that only seniors have this privilege. In our school we do not have many dances, we only have a senior prom.

We do not have a homecoming as the school is too small for a football team, so giving juniors a prom they may enjoy would give them a break from school as 11th grade is one of the most busy years of high school.

Some may say that juniors may not be mature enough to have a prom. This is not true.

WJPS senior, Sahira Haq said, “I think they should because after stressing so much about school they should just relax and have fun.”

WJPS senior, Gabrielle Angel said, “ I think juniors should because our school doesn’t have many dances.”

Juniors deserve a prom and have a chance to have fun without worrying about anything. They deserve a break and have one night to just enjoy themselves.
