Pancakes, please

Recently I visited the IHOP located on Northern Boulevard in Flushing. I have never been to IHOP before, so I was very excited to finally try the food.

At first, I was a bit shocked by how steep the steps were. I thought that it would be more on a flat ground, but I did not mind it that much. Once I went inside, however, I was amazed at how friendly the staff was. The actual building was very clean on the inside, and it was surprising how different the inside was from the outside, since it seemed almost hidden.

Once my friend and I were seated, the service went great. In comparison to some other restaurants I have been to, IHOP had immediate, kind service. The waitress promptly came over with the menus and we were ready to order shortly after. I ordered three stacks of pancakes with two pieces of bacon along with orange juice, same with my friend.

Within five minutes it seemed, the food was already out and was prepared immaculately. The food looked really great, and it tasted even better. The pancakes were not soggy at all and they were very satisfying to my hungered stomach. The bacon was a perfect mix of crunchy and soft. They had syrup in four varieties when I was there, which was maple, butter and pecan, strawberry and blueberry. I went with the classic maple, but I really want to try blueberry next. Then, the waitress came just as we finished when we asked, gave us our bill, and we were ready to leave.

Out of five stars, I would definitely rate this restaurant a five. I would recommend this place for anyone who would love a quick, cheap, well-prepared breakfast or for any other kind of meal. The workers are considerate and they are always trying to make you feel at home. I can not wait until my next visit to be able to try a different variety of their food.
