Brian Johnson, lead singer of AC/DC, will not be touring with his band on the Rock or Bust world tour.

According to his doctor, Johnson will not be able to tour because of his hearing impairment. His replacement is Axl Rose, lead singer of hard rock band, Guns N’ Roses. Rose will be joining AC/DC as their lead singer.

Johnson first joined the band in 1980 after singer, Bon Scott, died. The first album Johnson was featured on is, Back in Black, which became AC/DC’s best selling record.

Axl Rose will also tour with his reunited band, Guns N’ Roses, this summer with former members, Slash and Duff McKagen.

AC/DC’s tour that features Axl Rose will kick off on May 7th in Portugal and go through most of Europe, ending on June 12th in Denmark.

“I think Axl would do good with AC/DC, but won’t match the capabilities of Brian Johnson,” junior Dilin Budhu said.
