Elio Delayed

Elio is written and directed by Adrina Molina and produced by Mary Alice Drumm. The main voices are Yonas Ascuncion Kibreab, America Ferrera, Jameela Jamil, and Brad Garrett. Kibrea will voice Elio, Garrett will voice Grigon, Jamil will voice Ambassador Questa, and Ferrer will voice Olga Solis.

Elio was supposed to be released this year on March 1st, but due to the SAG-AFTRA the movie had to reschedule its release date. This film will be released next year on June 13th, 2025.

The story follows a boy named Elio Solis who was mistaken as theaAmbassador of planet Earth due to contact with aliens from the Communiverse. The only way for Elio to survive is by forming bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms.

WJPS 11th grader Lidia Kralijic stated, ”It will be a good movie that lots of people will enjoy.”

WJPS 11th grader Lilah Freeman stated, ”I think the movie is more for younger kids to watch then teenagers. Younger kids will enjoy watching it more.”
