As the United States gears up for the November 5th, 2024, presidential elections, our nation finds itself with nearly one year left.

There is a wide assembly of candidates that are fighting for the presidency. Many issues in the nation are being discussed to determine which candidate will ultimately deal with these issues best in the public’s view.

Many WJPS seniors will be eligible to vote by the time the elections come around. Online voting isn’t an option, but WJPS seniors, along with other Americans nationwide, will be allowed to vote at their local polling locations.

WJPS senior, Nathan Gibson said, “I’m voting just because I have the right to, so why not?”

WJPS senior, Sa Quan Moore said, “I guess I’ll vote because it’ll feel weird not to when you can.”
