Most students tend to give respect to their school and care for school equipment. Growing up, the place students spend most of their time is in school, starting at 8:00am till dismissal 2:20pm. Adding to a total of seven hours each day for five days for a year.

“I know that I try to treat our school respectfully. I also try listening to what the teachers say,” seventh grader Jesse Gilbert-Sovern said.

Some students pick up garbage they see on the floor. Clubs such as the Do Something and Environmental help not only the school but the environment as well by recycling and saving.

“I treat the school well by taking the garbage and cleaning up after lunch,” seventh grader Daniel Ian said.

Mr. Myrtil, the school’s technology specialist, always warns the students to use schools property with care; such as no gum, drinks, and food near the laptops and ipads.

“We can treat our school well by being careful with the things we borrow from school,”sixth grader Kylie Cuervos said.

The students say that the school should be kept clean and with care because this is where they spend most of their time, it may even seem like a second home to many. And because this is a public space to be used by all the students, it is always good to be cautious and respectful.

“I think our school should be clean” seventh grader Brandon Levy said.

The school is a place for students to study and learn; and as the saying goes, the cleaner the environment the better one can concentrate.
