The new Warner Brothers movie called The Batman was released in early March. 

The movie stars actor Robert Pattinson, known for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga, as Batman. It also stars Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, and Paul Dano as The Riddler.

WJPS sophomore Alexsandre Arroyo stated, “The trailer looked promising. The Batman movies are usually a hit and I have high hopes for this one.”

Another WJPS sophomore, William Quentin, stated “The fighting scenes from the trailer looked really good. It looked more realistic and better than other movies I have seen.”

The movie is about a serial killer named The Riddler who starts to murder authority figures in Gotham City. This situation forces Batman, also known as Bruce Wayne, to investigate The Riddler’s motives. 

This is the first time that actor Robert Pattinson has played the role of Batman. He stated that, “Playing Batman was the hardest thing I have ever done,” but he is also “grateful” to have played the character. 

“The other Batman movies were pretty good so I’m hoping this one also hits that level,” added WJPS sophomore Jake Zacatelco.
