Brooklyn Nets are having a decent start to the NBA season. However, coming into Phoenix, the Nets have lost to the Phoenix Suns.

“The Suns were dominant all around, they were the better team,” freshman Cody Chojar said.

With a loss of 8 points, the Nets have just fallen short. Nets starting Shooting Guard Joe Johnson played a great game getting 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, great stats for a player of his position. However Backup Suns Small Forward Gerald Green played better with 28 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.

“Poor Brooklyn, I thought they were going to win. Its a shame because they were having a good game,” senior Emmanuel Damanakis said.

Nets led Half with 63-49, however the Suns came up with a win, scoring 34 points in the final quarter while the Nets only had 20 points. This left the Nets with a loss and a score of 112-104.

“The Suns are a great team I knew they were going to beat the Nets, especially since they are at their home court,” senior Dennis Mitts said.

Nets are facing the Golden State Warriors next game in Oakland. The Nets better be prepared this game, because they are going to be facing a great team.
