Senior Samantha Ubertini sent out a poll to the whole senior class to vote on where our senior picture would be taken. The Brooklyn Bridge was the winning choice, so all WJPS seniors went on October 15th to take pictures, hang out, eat, and enjoy the beautiful weather. The whole grade had fun on the trip and enjoyed taking in the environment. Photo taken by Mr. Jurman

Seniors finally came to the decision to take their senior photo by the Brooklyn Bridge with the skyline of the city in the background. It was a successful trip. Students cooperated with the teachers for the photo then had over an hour and a half to themselves to explore Brooklyn.

“I thought we took one of the best pictures the seniors have taken yet, the skyline and the bridge in the background looked beautiful,” senior Susie Pistone said.

With over 90 students in the graduating class, students had to maneuver themselves together to fit within the camera’s lens. After squeezing together, both students and teachers were pleased with the final result of the photo.

“I think the senior photo is the best one yet–The Freedom Tower,The Brooklyn Bridge and our seniors–total icons! It shows how collaborative the seniors are and that even if someone voted for another location that in the end it’s the togetherness that counts. I believe it was a nice day for all involved,” Senior Committee advisor Mrs. Muenkwitz said.
