Which Do You Prefer: Cats or Dogs?

Which+Do+You+Prefer%3A+Cats+or+Dogs%3F

Many people have pets at home, and two common house pets are cats and dogs. Some prefer one or the other, while some love both.

Many people like to have cats because cats take less responsibility , and they are easier to take care of.

Cats don’t need to be walked every day, and they don’t constantly ask for attention, as they are very independent by nature. As a result, cats require less time and energy from their owners.

According to Ms. Paplow, guidance counselor at WJPS, “I believe that cats are easier to take care of, so if I had to choose between a cat and a dog, I would choose a cat.”

Some prefer dogs because they are more active than cats, requiring more energy and care from their owners.

They are also natural pack animals, so many like to spend a lot of time with family members.

Many believe owning a dog can come with its benefits. For example, it can encourage people to move around more, feel less alone, and make people more social outside.

According to Ms. Papazoglou, a teacher at WJPS, “As a dog owner, I would never trade my dog for a cat.”

Data from a school survey of WJPS seniors shows that 68 percent of the students polled prefer dogs and 32 percent prefer cats.
