Online vs In-Store Holiday Shopping

Online+vs+In-Store+Holiday+Shopping

There are two ways of shopping, online and in stores. Some people like to go inside stores to shop, while others prefer to do it online.

They can take advantage of Black Friday Deals and order items in advance due to the supply chain shortages our country have been experiencing.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the ways of shopping for many people.

WJPS senior, Logan Ruiz, said, “Every year my family usually [goes] shopping in-person to the stores and man has it become a tradition! This year although Covid has ruined a lot of things I hope that we can go shopping in person.”

Many people prefer to shop online since it is easier and quicker. They don’t have to wait in long lines to pay for their items.

WJPS teacher, Ms. Kontos said, “I prefer to do my shopping online for two reasons: I do not like to shop and wait in long lines and it’s so much easier to order from the comfort of your own home.”

Since the deliveries of holiday shopping items have been delayed due to COVID-19, people will start shopping extra early so they have their gifts in time for the holidays.
