Thanksgiving is coming up, and people are thinking of creative ideas and ways to celebrate with their friends and families. This holiday is about being thankful for things that people have in their lives and spending quality time with their friends and families. 

Some activities that people can do for Thanksgiving are craft a fall wreath, make a list of things to be grateful for, and make do-it-yourself wool pumpkins. 

Families can play family games such as Thanksgiving-themed bingo and Thanksgiving trivia.

Many families like to prepare the dinner menu and cook their favorite meals together. 

According to Ms. Ciccilini, WJPS teacher, “I wish every meal was filled with as much family, love, appreciation, and sweet potatoes as we get to enjoy on Thanksgiving.” 

Baking is also another traditional activity that can be done by families for Thanksgiving. 

According to Ms. Paplow, WJPS guidance counselor, “On Thanksgiving, I like to make desserts with my whole family. We make pies, pumpkin cookies, and pumpkin bread, it’s a tradition we do every year.”
