Hollywood Ending is making one last trip through the US and the UK for their final tour. About a month ago Hollywood Ending made the announcement to fans that after they release one final full length album they will be taking a break from Hollywood Ending.
Hollywood Ending also announced that this summer they will be headlining the Never Ending Summer Tour (NEStour). This tour will be their last tour as a band for now.
Hollywood Ending is a pop-rock band that formed in the Summer of 2011. The band consists of Tyler Wilson (Lead Vocals), Cameron Byrd (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Piano), Dan Geraghty (Vocals/Lead Guitar), and Chris Bourne (Vocals/Bass).
On June 4, Hollywood Ending played the second show of their tour at the Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Amityville, Long Island.
“Your support to us over these past four years has been incredible. You’ve given us the best years of our lives. We hope you guys can make it out to see us this summer, and we hope you guys love the album. Thank you so much – we love you guys,” band Hollywood Ending posted to their website.
VIP started at 4:30. During the VIP, the band took group pictures with their fans, played two acoustic songs, and even took selfies with whoever wanted some. The two songs they played at the VIP were Another Round, and You Got Me.
To kick off the concert Hollywood Ending invited some of their friends to open the show for them. The opening acts were Count To Ten, Little Time Off, The Big Time, and 7 Minutes In Heaven.
Hollywood Ending started off their set with a song called Zero Gravity off of their new album Hollywood Ending. This song was upbeat, got the crowd’s attention, and set the mood for a high energy concert.
“I thought that the show was really good. I always enjoy seeing these smaller bands play because we get to meet them afterwards and it is easy to find new music and bands that you wouldn’t have heard of otherwise. Hollywood Ending’s set was really good and it was nice hearing all of their new songs live,” freshman Robyn Landolfi said.
Some other new songs that the band played were Courtney Love, Fade to Blue, and Perfect. They also made the fans happy by playing a ton of throwback songs from the past four years. Some of those songs were Always 18, Don’t Let Me Down, You, Freak Like Me, Not Another Song About Love and She’s All That.
Lead singer Wilson got emotional when half way through the set the band decided to stop and thank the fans for all they have done in the past four years. Wilson made the comment that it was only the second show of the tour and he shouldn’t already be this sad.
“If you aren’t going to #NEStour, you’re missing out! Go check out the tour dates and make sure to grab some tickets,” Ender Sarah tweeted.
After the show was over, Wilson, Byrd, and Geraghty decided to come out to the front of the venue to meet fans that didn’t get to meet them at the VIP. Although the band also includes member Bourne, he didn’t partake on this tour with the rest of the guys.
At the end of the night, Enders alike can all agree that Hollywood Ending was a band that changed lives. The band will always hold a special place in their hearts and fans will love Hollywood Ending, Forever and Always.
