Ever since Donald Trump joined the race for president in June, there have been 16 candidates, and now there are only three with Trump at the top of the polls and delegate count.

There are 1031 delegates remaining and Trump would need a total of 479 delegates to clinch the nomination. He has surpassed Ted Cruz by 220 delegates and John Kasich by 613, who needs 1176 delegates.

In states, such as Colorado and Wyoming, where no average citizen voted, only 34 delegates did, which Trump said was “a big payoff.” He added that it has “nothing to do with democracy,” and that “the system is rigged”.

“Donald Trump won’t be able to become President, the people will never allow that,” junior Dilin Budhu said.

Many Democrats and Republicans both oppose Trump because even though they’re different parties, they are both establishment. They don’t want Trump, and because of this reason, he can’t be controlled by his party. Both parties see Trump as dangerous and uncontrollable.

The GOP establishment and the mainstream media both don’t want to see Donald Trump as president. Liberal, New York Daily News, always, no matter the issue, attacks Trump for everything he does. In an issue of the Daily News, after Trump’s New Hampshire win, the Daily News attacked both him and his supporters, resulting in a loss of all of their credibility because they weren’t able to report on the election fairly.

“The establishment is stealing the nomination away from him and the voters, it’s not fair to either of them,” junior Rocco Pascalli said.

Trump deserves to win, because he has won the support of millions of voters, and won multiple states. He now is the presumptive nominee and he worked hard to get where he is.
