Students from all over the country attended the annual spring CSPA ( Columbia Scholastic Press Association) journalism conference. It was held on Columbia University’s campuses from March 16th to 18th.

“My favorite day of the conference was Friday because there was class about Christians in the newsroom. I didn’t have a favorite session because for all the days I really enjoyed my sessions and I learned a lot from every one of them,” junior Renee Choong said.

Teachers and students attended various workshops throughout the day. Workshops were based on the different kinds of publications such as newspaper, broadcast, yearbook and photography.

“My favorite session was called ‘editors only roundtable’. It was a session where editors of newspaper and yearbook got together and talked about stuff that editors do and deal with,” junior Ashley Luttrell said.
